Hi everyone.

Yesterday I received an application status update from the Teachers College. According to this e-mail, the admissions office is missing my "Official Final BA Transcript" from my undergrad institution. I believe that they received the transcript I sent, because the other materials that I included in my paper-based packet aren't listed as missing. There are two reasons that they may not think the transcript I sent is my "Official Final BA Transcript:"

1. I'm a senior, so I won't have my final transcript until mid-May. Surely they understand this issue, though.

2. My school changed names several years ago. It was still listed as Old Name on the online application, and since all of the corresponding information was correct, I selected it from the list instead of typing everything in myself. (I wasn't lazy; I thought they would appreciate that I used the school code.) Now I'm scared that they don't know New Name is the same institution as Old Name, so they think they don't have a transcript from my undergrad institution at all.

Okay, so I replied to the e-mail explaining the situation. Here's the big problem: seconds after I sent my reply, I received an automated e-mail explaining that they can't respond to individual inquiries about applicants' statuses. I can't find any alternative e-mail addresses to use, or any numbers to call. I'm scared they'll throw out my application if I don't get this issue resolved. :scared:

Does anyone have any advice, similar anecdotes, or a way to contact the Office of Admission at Teachers College?

I used this number to contact the admissions office several weeks ago: (212) 678-3710.

When I applied to my Master's (at a different university) the status listed my official BA final transcript as missing also, but they expected me to send it in when I graduated. Maybe they don't expect it from seniors in college until they're done?
