Just curious.

I'm a U.S. physician board certified in family medicine.

Is anyone aware of teaching positions in any of the english speaking university programs in Europe that might be open to a U.S. doc?

If so, any info regarding typical teaching duties, salary, benefits, legal/logistical hurdles, etc??

Thanks!

At least for Germany I can tell you that there are usually no full time teaching positions (that I am aware of). There are either associated with a research position or part of the deal at the hospital (with regular patient treatment along the way).

If I were you I would contact each school (with English Language Teaching) individually.... maybe an email to the school president or the head of the Internal Medicine department would be most helpful....

Good luck and let us know.....

Are you in Germany now?
