Hello Fellow SDN Members,

Question about techinical aspects of DAT (Please link if there are threads on this topic already)

I will be taking DAT for the first time next month. The thing I'm most worried about is the techinical aspect of the DAT.

(1) Computer - Is it difficult to use for PAT or any other subjects? What are some good methods to get used to the computer? Most people have suggested that I master the computer before the test day so I won't have to waste time on the tutorials. Any other difficulties with the computer would be great.

(2) Organization - How should I organize my desk when I take the test? Should I really use the mouse with left hand while I write with my right? etc. Any tips would be great.

(3) Scrap paper - What are some efficient way to use the space on the scrap paper.

(4) Any other tips on the technical aspect of the exam would be very helpful.

Thank you so much for your attention to this thread 🙂

don't they still give out scrap papers?

No papers.

They give you 3 laminated papers and || this thick dry markers.
One calculation problem on QR, one paper is filled up. Seriously, the dry marker is way too thick. 😡
