I have used many different prep material for DAT but all of them do not have the same feature. So I wonder how things work in the real DAT.

(1) Calculator is available only during QR section?

(2) Is it possible to high light in RC?

(3) Is there "Review Marked Questions only" feature in real DAT?

I was wondering the same thing as well as which functions the calculator will have on it. Hopefully it will it will at least have a sq. root function.

The calculator is the same as the calculator program on most computers. You can go on the ADA website and go through the tutorial and there should be the calculator there. The calculator is only used for math. The gen chem section however is mostly set ups similar to the 2007 practice exam on the ADA website.

You cannot highlight for the RC section.

You are allowed to mark questions and at the end of each section and review the questions you marked.

Good luck!

Achiever is 100% replica, right down to the laggy calculator which requires you to type in 0.23 and not .23.

No highlights, just what notes you make on the paper/boards.

You can only review questions you marked up at the end. Its useful if you like to skip around, but I honestly never used this feature extensively.

definitely think what ushaseos has pointed out will be of great help to a lot of people. I am always used to using the calculator WITHOUT pressing the zero first, but ever since achiever and your comment i'll definitely press zero first before any decimal.

thanks for this thread it's a good one

1. Yep.

2. You can highlight text by dragging your curser just like you would on any website or document. I did this frequently to save my spot if I was scrolling through looking for something.

3. Yes, but you can't review marked questions until you get to the end of the section.

For RC, does the passage jump up to the top for every new question, or does it hold its spot as you go to the next question?

It jumps to the top for every question but the paragraphs are numbered so it's not too hard to navigate through it.
