Hey.

So, I am waiting on my school to process a retroactive medical withdrawal.(which they may or may not approve) If approved, it would substantially improve my GPA. I'm torn because I'm waiting for them to make a decision but I'm loosing precious time on the application. Let's say I submit the primary today (with my LOW GPA) and I get notice that my school will change my transcript (withdrawal a semester two years ago) will I be able to change it in AMCAS before med schools see it??? HELP!

Probably not. Once your AMCAS is verified that's what schools will see right off the bat. You may be able to update, but schools will have already seen the lower GPA.

Well, the verification takes a few weeks. So, I can't update within those few weeks?
