Is anyone around here applying for the TEDMED Frontline Scholarship?

I am a huge fan of TED and TEDMED and when I found out they had a scholarship to cover the $5,000 delegate fee, I submitted my app....was just wondering if anyone else here had applied or was considering applying.

The basic gist is they pay your conference fee (or half conference fee) so you can be a participating delegate at the TEDMED 2013 conference.

I got an e mail about two days ago saying they were backlogged and could not meet the 14 day target originally stated. They said all decisions would be made by March 15th.

How did the application process go? Did you get it? Full or half? Was it worth it?
