I got an email ad for a telemedicine job. Does anyone know what these jobs entail? What type of pts, number of pts, medicolegal risk, pay? Has anyone worked in telemedicine before?

I did a lot during residency, we did dedicated months and covered it on 'night shifts'. TeleEmergency.

I've ran codes, reduced fracture, dispatched helicopters, calmed patients and MLPs... It was a lot of fun.

All the questions you ask would be incredibly dependent on the program. My only experience was covering TM as a resident where I didn't care nor had any choice about the above. My overall experience was VERY positive though!
