There have been too many discussions about Destroyer, Achiever and what not. Because of my curiosity, I am going to go ahead purchase Destroyer and incorporate into my DAT studying. This might not sound too smart, but I really can't tell whether those people are being serious on their comments about Destroyer.

buy it, you'll thank me later. check my old posts.....i doubted destroyer at one time also. now i'm retaking the DAT and couldn't imagine doing so w/out the destroyer.

I agree with jackbauer. I had my doubts about the book until I purchased it and it helped me, greatly.

Go for it. I just bought my Destroyer. Haven't really started using it yet, but looking forward to it.

It can only help you, or not help you...but it can't really hurt your scores.

I think that the more one can get their hands on to study from and if used wisely, nothing can go wrong.

I haven't personally used it yet because I am JUST starting to study for the DAT...I know someone who used it and highly recommended it to me...I too have had a hard time distinguishing between true and untrue testimonies...I think I will go ahead and buy it though...😕

Good move. I was also very worried about the validity of testimonies made here on SDN. I even PMed a member who seemed to be rather chill and trustworthy to talk about it. I ended up getting it and am currently using it. It really is great material and problems to study off of. I don't think you'll regret it. I mean Kaplan wasn't that great, but it did help me some. I don't regreth the $1000...I'm sure you won't miss $150 especially when it really will help you.

Honestly everyone is right get your hands on all of the info that you can and mash it into your brain... its the only way. One thing that is for sure is that the Destroyer is amazing. I am 3 weeks from taking my exam and I am still nervous as I should be, but I feel much more confidant that I have an edge on the Dat test with the Dat Destroyer. Look your going to be spending thousands of dollars on dental school why not take a crack at getting a scholarship or into the school of your choice. I'm not saying that if you buy all of these books that you'll get a 30 but if you put in the time i'm sure you'll do fine.
