Ok, we send in the AMCAS...hopefully earlier than August 19th...how long until secondaries come in? Then how long between submission to being called for an interview? If they aren't interested, do they tell you upfront or do you just not hear from them regarding an interview? Someone help me, obviously i'm clueless. 😳

Just as an example, I submitted my AMCAS on July 14. My AMCAS application was processed on July 29. Ohio State and Cincinnati (neither of which screen) both sent me their secondaries on July 23. Other have trickled in slowly. Today (August 20) I am only waiting to hear back from Vanderbilt (who grants interviews to all they select for secondaries) and UAB.

As for interviews, some applicants have them scheduled now, but most don't. As I understand it, October-December is primetime interview season.
