I know some schools take very heavily from their own state. I was curious if anyone out there knew how much of an advantage being a pennsylvania resident is for admission. I alrerady have an interview, so I made ' the first cut", I am just curious .

I was told that Temple doesn't put any kind of quota on it and from what I hear they've lately been pressured to accept more out-of-state students. Still, they said the freshman class is about 50 in-staters and 75 out-of-staters.

Why are they being pressured to take more out of staters? It doesn't seem fair to people who live in PA...
