Hey all,
I wanted to know if any knew anything about Temple's stats at this point...is the class completely full?? And is there any chance of getting an acceptance this late in the cycle, if you have already interviewed but are still under committee review?

Thanks!

I interviewed last cycle in October and never got in. In fact, I never even got an official "sorry, we're full - better luck next year" letter either.

I had an interview in early December, and I am still under review. There is supposed to be 1 more round of acceptances going out, and after that the best you can hope for is to be wait listed.

Thanks for responding guys! I hope they atleast let us know whats going on, I hate this limbo state...😕

Dannijo4 do you know when they said the next round of acceptances is??

yes i would also like to know so for those still interviewing what the chances are and hopefully we can hope to interview before this next big round is sent!

Because the deposits for the second round of acceptances are due on the 25th, of February, I would say that the next round of acceptances would be from 5-7 days after that date (end of Feb into early march). I mean, I'm guessing this because the acceptances were sent out from the 20th-24th of January and the first due deposit date was January 15th. Around mid January, about 80 seats were taken and approximately 40 left over from the first round of acceptances. The second round just past so I'm guessing at least 20 of the 40 seats left were taken. My guess is around 10-20 seats left but ask Brian Hahn, I think he'll tell you straight out.

yikes! that's not a lot left 🙁 I have an interview this week and was hoping to find out soon and not in march or end of feb. I guess Brian will give us more specifics and we'll just go from there. I was so pumped for my interview because I finally got one from them after so many complications with their office but after reading this it just makes me want to get even more pumped since it seems like there's not a lot of seats left and we all gotta be super amazing to snag one of these last seats! whew! GOOD LUCK EVERYONE! 🙂

No, I am not sure when the next round of acceptances will go out. Sorry!

Okay, so I don't really know what people are talking about. I interviewed last week and this is what I was told.....about 1/3 of interviews will get in and only about half of their class is full (this is coming directly from the mouth of the admissions officer). I was told that they cut their number of interviews this year so that they would not end up in a situation where they accept everyone early on and have no spots left for later interviews...so they are only interviewing people that have a good chance. They STRONGLY stressed this point, that they have several spots still open for late interviews and they did this on purpose. Don't stress, you still have a good chance.

Brian Hahn said that about 40 seats were left early january. He claims he's not a part of adcom but he knows about the number of students that place a deposit from what I've been told when I called admissions. 40 seats isn't a half of their seats, so I'm only saying it because that was the number he gave me.
