I want to say they're handing out acceptances based on interview date. Three different people, including those above, told me they interviewed in October and received the acceptance today.

I also interviewed in November, and my status is in invited for interview. I think its safe to say that for those of us who interviewed in Nov, are getting our app revied by the adcom. Also if you look at the trend from last year, it seems like people find out more and more as time goes by. I think it just means the apps are backed up right now

guys he was early november, most likely first, second or third time slot in november. keep you head up, Like I said above im pretty sure its by the time we interviewed. So if you were in mid or late nov, hang in there

No no, its fine. I'd rather hear the truth than not know. That's why I'd rather a school just tell me if I'm accepted or rejected right now rather than waiting or being on a "wait list". Thanks though.. I was exactly the middle of November.... When did you interview jpower?

I'm not sure, but it's putting me in a place where I might have to commit to another school if I don't hear back. I'm thinking of calling them in about 2 weeks or so if I haven't heard anything and explaining the situation. What do you guys think?

Don't get discouraged if you haven't heard from Temple..they send out acceptances in random waves. I think I got mine mid January? Have Faith! 🙂

The issue with receiving the acceptance later is that I have to put down a deposit somewhere else. That's really what worries me :/

I have until jan 3 to make a decision about LECOM, the 4th for Meharry [$800 deposit]
idk about NYU..but honestly, it will kill me if temple accepts me AFTER i send off ~$1000

Boston and Louisville so far. Haven't heard back from a few at all, which worries me. For BU, it's a $3000 deposit which is ridiculous! I would absolutely hate to lose that, that's not a small sum of money. I'm thinking of calling up Temple in about 2.5 weeks if I haven't heard back and talking to Brian. Good or bad idea?

wow..$3000 is a bit much. I emailed Brian asking him what it means if we didnt hear a decision yet?..lol i prob should have waited. I do think it's good idea to call later, they prob need more time.

he didnt..but im not surprised. I imagine many others are contacting him as well, im just upset they wont give me some type of answer...completely not knowing is annoying me

if you called whoever answers should be able to give it to you...but i think i may just go to the school, it's only 15 min away

I know people who have applied to Temple the past two years, and they should let you know some time in December, before you are put in the position of putting down a deposit for another school. I'm in the same boat where I have to put down a deposit by 1/2 but I'm hoping I hear from Temple before that happens. I would wait 2 weeks before emailing and calling, and I don't think going down there in person is going to do much. Good luck everyone, hang in there!

I really hope what you said is true, regarding letting you know before you're in a position to put down a deposit. I'm definitely waiting a few weeks, probably waiting until the 21st to contact them. That should give them enough time to make a decision and also give me some time to put a deposit elsewhere in case they reject me.
