Hi all. Sorry for such a basic question, but how do most D1's dress at Temple? Scrubs? Casual? A Mix?

Try asking the D2's. Here at my school, they included a letter in our orientation packet about dress code and what's appropriate to wear to class. We can wear scrubs or business-casual, but my school is known for being picky about dress code. The school orders each of the incoming D1's 5 pairs of scrubs, but students don't get them until Sept-Oct, so I'll be stuck wearing business-y outfits until I get my scrubs.

If you're worried, just wear khaki pants and a nice shirt on the first day and then see what others are wearing. I'm sure the school will go over it during orientation if there is a dress code.

i'm currently a D2.

up until recently anything went (flip flops, shorts, tshirts, etc), but now since we have a new dean they are enforcing a dress code policy (scrubs and maybe business casual, but mostly scrubs).

and I think we are the dark red color right??? every class is given a color for their scrubs.

I guess we will find out at orientation what the color is.

I heard that we purchase them together in bulk....... so we can get a better discount and have htem say Temple Dental or something on them. Not really sure but what i heard when i went for the interview.

we had a meeting about the "dark red scrubs" and a majority of the people voted against it because that's what nursing students wore. as of right now even i don't know what the scrubs colors will be or how "strict" the new dress code policy will be.

enjoy your first semester. it's the most relaxing semester you're going to be having at Temple before you enter clinic (lots of half days, don't really need to go to preclinic after hours, and the classes are a breeze)
