i cannot go to both interviews b/c their only available date conflicts with each other.
which interview should i go for? i have no acceptance from schools yet, so if i rephrase the question, which school accepts more interviewees, has higher probability of getting in?

How bad is the conflict? Are they on the exact same day? Call them both up and tell them you have a huge wedding/funeral/work presentation you have to attend and see if they're willing to be flexible.
