I have an interview on Monday at Temple. First interview of all the pod schools that I applied to. I actually leave tomorrow morning so I will have Sunday to check out the area and the campus. I am a little flustered because I never received a formal confirmation for the interview and I realized tonight I don't know exactly where to go on Monday morning! Anyone else getting ready for a Monday interview?? Any advice on where to go? I was hoping I'd find the admissions office and they could point me in the right direction.

- very nervous

what do u mean by u never got a formal confirmation for interview. The Invite letter u got from temple or the email they sent u shud mention where u have to go or check in. i wud also go to admission's office and they wud point u to the right direction. U cud go on AACPM website and get the exact address of admission's office (podiatry) bcoz temple is a big university it can be possible it has different admission;s offices for different schools like undergrad, professional school, podiatry school, etc. u dont wanna get lost in searching the building especially in this unexpected cold weather.

Good luck with ur interview. may god bless u.

Perhaps, someone who recently interviewed at TUSPM can tell you exactly where to report to and what time. In the past, prospective applicants will report to TUSPM admissions office. The TUSPM admissions office is actually located on the ground floor of the student dorm building on the corner of Eighth and Race Streets. Since I am not sure what time you are suppose to be at TUSPM for the interview, I would go to the TUSPM Academic building (located right next to the TUSPM student dorms) and ask the student or security guard working at the front desk of the TUSPM Academic building to get you into the TUSPM admissions office on Monday morning. Hopefully, one of the students that have recently interviewed with TUSPM (bdaddyjolley, safoot, crave888, lillytwig) can tell you where and when to report to.

Typically, students should have recieved a confirmation email or mailing from the school detailing your interview time, date, and where to report to for your interview. By the way, TUSPM is NOT located on the Temple University Main Campus and is NOT located on the Temple University Health Science Campus (Temple Medical, Dental, Pharmacy schools and Temple University Hospital). TUSPM is located in the downtown area of Philadelphia, known as "Center City". The school is located again on the corner of 8th Street and Race Street in the Chinatown neighborhood of Center City. If you do need to speak to someone at TUSPM during the weekend (since the admissions office is closed over the weekend), you can reach someone at the front desk of the school (since the TUSPM academic building is open during the weekend for students to study or use the lab / library) by calling (215) 629-0300 and press 0 for the front desk. Good luck with your interview.

Yes, I am a native of New York City. I was born and raised in Soho, which is a neighborhood in downtown Manhattan. I moved to Philadelphia when I went to Temple for Podiatry School. Hence, I know both cities pretty well.

I received a phone call from the school on Thursday (phone message) confirming my hotel but no confirmation on the actual interview. I do have the time I'm supposed to be there (8:30am) and now I will go to check out the school tomorrow and try to confirm the location via the tips here (THANK YOU dpmgrad!!).

I flew into Philly tonight and it is a much bigger city than I expected. I'm anxious to explore tomorrow and especially for the interview on Monday. Thanks for everyone's support - I will post on interview feedback for all you still waiting to interview!

If anyone else is in the area I'd love to try to get together. I'm in a hotel with internet so I will be checking in the morning.

yea central city is especially amazing a lot of things to do there. I really liked it. If you get a chance go run up the rocky stairs and see the liberty bell. liberty bell is less than a mile of walking distance from the school and rocky is 2-3 miles definitely worth the visit.

Philadelphia is a cool city. Im from CA and I thought it was a lot coolier than the crap hole I call Los Angeles. It is very pretty on the outskirts. Lots of trees and rivers here and there. Center city is nice. I walked all around it after my interview and even walked to south phili to get a Geno's cheese steak. South phili was different than center city but there was some cool stuff. The historic sites are cool. i like the fact too that TUSPM is located in center city (the outskirts of China town) because the main Temple campus is in a bad area, north phili. Although the main campus is really nice but I would rather be near center city going to school.
