Temple living suggestions

To students to go to Temple Dental School, do you have any suggestions to where I should live? Im NOT from Philly and I'm not aware of the dangerous parts around Philly. How are the subways like at night (didn't take them while in Philly for my interview) ? Im thinking about living in Center City, which looks like a pretty safe area to me. Please let me know, thanks!

Yo, subways are pretty safe (I dont ride them, but i have not heard of any problems with the kids i know). I feel safe walking around Broad (from the med school to dental school) and also feel safe a few blocks off of broad.

Center city good if you want city living, or if you want just out side of the city close to school Manayunk or East Falls is good. East falls is a little more run down but still safe from what i have experienced. If you talk to someone about renting, the real estate agent will most likely be honest with the safety of those particular streets, but in general they are all safe. Hope that helps

Thanks for the reply. Im pretty sure about living in Center City. What year are you? Would you mind commenting on how you're experience at Temple as been thus far? Any negatives ?

I've been looking into center city. Don't really like the rox borough area much.
