Hi all,

Has anyone that has applied to Temple and is out of state heard back from them? Have you tried calling the school to get status checks and found them to be very rude?

Any info would help as the admissions office hasnt helped me thus far.

Thanks in advance.

I have not heard a peep since I sent in my secondary. However, I know that they have interviewed some out of state people.

They've interviewed quite a few out-of-state students and have placed them on their CCL list; do a search for details

i am an out of stater and was put on the ccl list on dec 19th. i interviewed on nov19th or so...

I know my application was completed in late September and just received an interview invite postmarked 1/3/2003. Guess they are starting their second round of interview offers.

What's a CCL list? Thanks.

ccl=continued candidate list... sort of like a waitlist... for out of state applicants this step comes before being accepted as they accept ~60% of the class from the in-state applicants... i think that is how it works.

hmm, i was kinda confused about this....do they by default put ALL out of state interviewees on the CCL list before taking the instate kids they want? I being technically a "GA resident" didn't get put on the CCL list , but I was born and raised in philly so maybe they still considered me instate?

Doubtful, your state of residency is only the one you listed on your AMCAS and means the difference between in state and out of state tuition in alot of cases.

If you are in the CCL pile, however, you might have an advantage if the ad comm thought you might stay in Phili post grad becasue of your background.
