they told me it is 70% to get into interview...but anyway anyone receive any interview from TEMPLE yet? they are so freaking slow

It is true that this is the second year that Temple is using the PACT. From what I've been told last year, you need to be at least above 70 to be competitive. We have some people who are in our classs with less than 70 but its more of an abnormality. People talk a lot in my class and supposedly Temple is accepting a few people with low PCATs as an experiment to see if they can succeed in pharmacy school.

But you guys do your best and make yourself stand out from the other applicants. That's all I can say.

The profs are definitely comparing our grades to our PCAT scores and will use that info for future admissions--from the associate dean himself. Do your best and go for the best score you can. But don't forget there are other factors other than your PCAT score that admin looks at too. The best advice you've gotten is from Run DMV--make yourself stand out from the other applicants. u get an interview based on GPA only...u need to have a 3.3 to get invited for an interview...last year I got my letter saying I was invited for an Interview in the beginning of Feb and yes they are very very slow...ur PCAT is one of several factors that they weigh on to see if u get in and trust me yes it is very very important (most likely the reason I did not get in and all my friends did...they had the same grades but scored much higher in the PCAT)
