which one has a better rep., better training? seemed like temple kids stayed at temple and jeff students at jeff, although they seemed like different programs.

I didn't apply to temple but most of the temple students that I met on the interview trail told me that they were not interested in staying at temple, mainly because they were unhappy with the inner-city location. They also stated that they felt that temple's IM program was decent. Jefferson is in a nice, expensive part of philly, and I've heard positive and negative reviews on it. You should read the reviews on scutwork.com, it sounds like they had difficulty adjusting to the 80 hr work week at first. The Jefferson students who I met seemed pretty happy with their school too, some were interested in staying at Jefferson. I liked Jefferson's hospital and location while I was there, the new chiefs seem like nice people too.
