Interviewed at both places and similar hospitals in that tier....will have to agree that you can't really compare them. Both of them are strong training programs in their own regard, with fellowship matching at very similar places.
Temple: more disadvantaged patients leading to sicker patients and interesting pathology. Lots of autonomy and procedures. The residents seemed to have really strong camaraderie with each other. Good academic physicians as well. PD seemed really nice and willing to go that extra mile for the residents.
Jefferson: CEO's to disadvantaged patients. Pretty big program with lots of great things going on, but then again, there's a lot of things going on (could be overwhelming it seems). PD seems very nice here as well.
