Temple vs. LECOM

Now before I get lynched for mentioning these two schools in the same breath, I would first like to say I like the idea of attending either of the schools and I do believe whatever my final decision may be I will be happy with it.

I have one main thing deterring me from the other when comparing the two schools.
The only thing that would prevent me from attending Temple would be having to come up with the funds to put my son in a private school during my four years there.

The only thing that would prevent me from attending LECOM would be its unproven curriculum and theoretical clinic.

If tuition wasn't an issue- I am applying for HPSP- what are your honest opinions on these two schools?

aren't they both similar in tuition? so you'd have trouble coming up with the money either way...i think

No the problem is the Philly public school system is a joke, therefore, the only option would be to have my son attend a private school. The public elementary schools in Bradenton are actually highly rated so a private school would not be needed there.

oh i see,

but i went to philly public schools and i got into 3 dental schools.
I think it depends on the kid, only bc private school education doesn't guarantee anything

Another thing to keep in mind for LECOM is that 4th year is not at bradenton and is at an offsite clinic somewhere else in florida that you have to move to, idk if that year away would be an issue for you with a family
