Both places are close to home and I have a strong support system in either place. I am not sure if I want to specialize yet or not. I care about money but it is not the biggest aspect so please give me additional advice other than price. ( the COA for both will be higher than what I am actually expecting- health insurance, high transportation prices and somewhat high living prices). I have no in-state option. Thank you !!

Temple
COA : 485 k roughly

Pros
better clinical education
know more people there
cheaper

cons
bad location
not as high of match rate for specializing

Penn
COA: 585 k roughly

pros
more exposure for specialty
high match rate for specialty
in a much better area
start clinical D1 year
not ranked (pro and con in my opinion)

cons
worried about not enough clinical opportunities
don't know as many people there

20.6% more expensive (before interest) =
20.6++% longer to financial freedom and retirement...

Do you think the extra cost is worth it for a better chance to specialize (from what ive been told), ivy league resources, connections, alumni network etc.
