I can only speak for myself, but I'm not planning on giving that courtesy to visiting champions. This game is to give @samac and @Zenge142 practice, and while I'm super happy that we have visitors, I think when we start giving courtesy passes to ~a quarter of the playing field, we depart from having a real practice game.

The Wasp and mrsqueenqueg (I think, and possibly some of the other new players) are other sites' champions and/or backups

That's fair I suppose, but as someone who comes from a site that doesn't have a "real" D1 to begin with, it doesn't bother me to punt a little. (We RP and YOLO D1, it's fun )

Usually we vote out whoever won the last game, or barring that it's just pure vibes lol

Also it helps because 17p is a lot of players for me. Narrowing the D1 solving a little is fine, I doubt the WW gods are so cruel they made only the champs wolves lol

Although really we don't have to narrow the solving so much as just not vote(/kill) people for 1 cycle. Especially since 3 of the visiting reps could also get a newbie shield. But I won't force anything

(Also I did the math and it's more like ~35% reps, fwiw)

Let me ask you something, we're less then 4 pages into the game when you've made this post, and loudly village read Samac several times at this point.

A player who you've never played with before, and whom you can deduce must be a strong player to be our sites champs rep.

And a player who's stated

That’s pretty quick and I’m scary.

That she's a pretty good wolf.

Does that not give you any pause?

This question isn't a statement of my feelings on Samac's alignment one way or the other to be clear, but I am curious why you don't have any hesitation about strongly reading someone village, that you've never played with, and who's been indicated to be a very good wolf, this early into Day 1.

Because there is also reasoning to be made as a wolf on why you dont want to have 4 people removed from the potential yeeting block in day 1.

And is not like he is acting in a harsh way of denying potential pockets to be seen as villagey? So is an approach I have trouble vibing with , even if the conclussion is something I agree with

I have no reason to think otherwise? I'm acostumed to really good towns being really good wolfs, but that will only be decided as the game goes on. My D1 impressions are mostly vibes~ so I see town energy I follow. If I'm paranoic of every single one of my town reads I'll go nowhere. And also, I'm only judging the posts that've been done in this game and avoid any takes about any previous games/playstyles since I don't find them relevant for my way of.reading the game.

So atm (and as everyone seems to see) samac is doing townie things so I give her a townie read.and that's that. I'll think about doubting them if she starts feeling scummy or if it's yolo and she is still alive womp womp

Also for the record I have 0 idea who are reps and who arent. Or who anyone is tbh... So ye I see what you tried to do there but it doesn't apply. I came here to play, so I'll play and there's no favorites nor.plot armor on my bias.

I kinda like the energy of asking questions of this post but don't like the way you ended it. Kinda feels like wanting to distance yourself from anything that can be incriminating. But maybe that's just vibes.
