I was kind of hoping to see more from wasp and toby - I don't feel like anything they've said is AI so far

At this point my leans are

Town: Kitzuna who seems pretty active but also isn't slamming down on the Is Town or Is Scum

Scum: Kcalb is doing the opposite which is kind of pinging my radar, as potentially performative

So off topic, but which sites does everyone come from/how did the cross internet WW thing get started? I just assumed champs was from different factions on SDN but I’m curious how this even started! Kinda a neat idea (I also didn’t know WW was such a big thing lol)

The Avocado where we play via a combination of Discord Rooms for Faction Chats and Disqus comment sections for Game Days. It's glorious. The Roleplays and rivalries over the years have been intense.

i feel like kcalbs looks purish but i’m still getting forced/tryhard feelings in her posts

i dont have issues with snapreading people, it’s the doubling down on existing reads, specifically the samacs village read, that’s pinging me

i’m not village reading samacs that strongly or even at all, i think some of samacs inquiry looks good but i know a couple of games ago she wolfed and ended up awkwardly bussing her packmate while following zenges leads which threw me off

i dont think samacs inquiring people is enough to get village read so i’m wary

and i’m wary of anyone really hard village reading her and doubling down on it

BTW if anyone is wondering, no, Kcalb probably isn't compatible with my other scum read of Zenge, but I feel like there is a wolf between the two of them

ok lets discuss Zenge because I was liking their posts but I know no history of them

Let me ask you something, we're less then 4 pages into the game when you've made this post, and loudly village read Samac several times at this point.

A player who you've never played with before, and whom you can deduce must be a strong player to be our sites champs rep.

And a player who's stated

That she's a pretty good wolf.

Does that not give you any pause?

This question isn't a statement of my feelings on Samac's alignment one way or the other to be clear, but I am curious why you don't have any hesitation about strongly reading someone village, that you've never played with, and who's been indicated to be a very good wolf, this early into Day 1.

Looking at Zenge's posts this game they've been poking and prodding continuously, which is early confrontational behaviour and then the above post actually shows a bit of analysis towards their view on Kcalb. It's not just Zenge trying to poke bears and see's what sticks theirs an intention to solve behind it.

There was a lot of poking /attention towards Samac in particularly which does make me wary that it could be forceful/performative w/w but I'll hold that in the backburner for now.

I also thought this post showed the below showed they were taking a wider look at the thread and not just homing in on a comfortable angle

Is there a reason you didn't bring up SAR?

to me they look to be inquisitive and genuinely investigating, not having any agenda which are my initial thoughts on their play

Ah gotcha.

TBH that was a weird game, and not just because she subbed. Suffice to say, she subbed into a very rough position for the wolves, which put her in a place where she had to do some things she might otherwise not have done. idk that I'd draw a ton of conclusions from it.

I haven't seen her play a "normal" wolf game yet, though. All I got is the Good PWWace, which was multiball.

I think I definitely was the first to read samac as towny. I agree, doubling down doesn't strike me as odd--it would be more odd to back off for essentially no reason at this point.

I think a few people have voiced discomfort over snapping reads. After hearing further discussion I agree that isn't in and of itself wolfy, but there is some tone stuff that pings me about some players' snap reads more than others.
