tendons, ligaments, and cartilage

Hi, just wanted to clarify. Are tendons and ligaments considered cartilage? Also are they vascularized?

Nope, tendons and ligaments are connective tissues. One of them is dense regular fibrous (collagenous) connective tissue, and I think the other is irregular, but don't quote me on that, it's been a few months since A&P 😉

And as for vascularized, if you mean are there vessels running through them, then yes, they are the same as any other living tissue in the body.
