Hello everyone,

Did everyone get an opportunity to fill out their supplemental application? I'm just wondering if they say that their stronger applicants get an opportunity, when in fact everyone that applies gets the chance. Anyone know anything about that?

By the way, I applied mid October, and received an email to fill out the supplemental last week.

I have this feeling that maybe UT-Memphis invites people to fill out supplemental applications if they have about 3.0 Science GPA and about 75% PCAT. I think they have a different standard for Out of State applicant..

I received an interview at Ut Memphis without having to fill out a supplemental application. I believe they no longer use the supplemental application.

really??!?? u must have a very good stat or something.. cuz I just had an interview with UT memphis, and the invitation came after I submitted supplemental application with the fee... but if you got an interview without the supplemental, I wonder if they have a different policy for an exceptional stat applicants??

i interviewed on Nov. 29th.
2:1 interview. not intimidating at all. had a long tour of the school. some presentations done by the P1s. and a lunch with the all the prospective students who were there with the faculty members who interviewed..

stat: PCAT: 79 composite
GPA: 3.44, science GPA 3.0
1 yr retail pharm. exp.

I submitted 3 rec. letters to pharmCAS. 1 from academic professor, 1 from academic adviser, 1 from employer (non-pharmacist). It took 2-3 days for the school to invite me for the interview. But I think I was invited soon because I applied early (Nov.5).. when did you e-submit your pharmCAS and supplemental? The school might be taking a while to get back to you about the interview due to a heavy volume of applications.. I suggest you wait until you hear from them, but if you want to know what is going on, you might want to e-mail the admissions person... hopefully this helps a little..

No, I would consider myself an average applicant. I got my interview letter in the mail about 2 1/2 weeks after submitting pharmCAS. On a side note, however, the interview was supposed to be the 29th but I got my acceptance letter to auburn so I didn't go to the interview. But I knew somebody else interviewing the same day who did not have to fill out a supplemental application.

I got an e-mail from the admissions office saying that I was put on "pending" category and that the admissions commi. won't make a decision until they have received my fall grades... so sad..🙁

I am sorry to hear that. Be strong at least they are not the only school you are applying to. If your grades are good I think you will have a decent chance to get in. I've heard they had 400 applicants last year for 200 seats. So, it is not bad at all I think. 🙂

thanks for ur encouraging words! 🙂 last yr the school didn't have the pharmCAS thing going on.. but this year they do... so.. I think it's gonna be more than 400 people applying this year.. but still.. i really hope my fall grades will help me!

My interview was scheduled for the same day but I canceled because I got into a school in-state. Also, living an hour away from tunica casinos would be detrimental to my living expenses.
