Well, I finished my DAT this morning in lovely Omaha, NE, where the sun ain't shining but the corn is looking good anyway. The test went pretty well, except for my PA, which turned out to be my lowest score (continually my highest on Kaplan and TopScore practice tests 😡 ). I could tell I wasn't focusing like I should have been, but also the q.s were a bit harder than I expected, especially the Top/Front/End ones and angles were pretty tough. I sure could have used some Starbucks. And the hot blond taking her med. school boards didn't help either.
I had the sea urchin q. and the CO2 in blood q. and QR was easier than practice tests I took. RC passages were on (1) [f-ing] comets/meteors, (2) infectious pulmonary diseases and (3) STDS-syphalis. Here are my scores:
PA: 17 (50.7)
QR: 18 (74.6)
RC: 21 (76.5)
Bio: 21 (93.5)
GC: 18 (63.9)
OC: 19 (73.5)
TS: 20 (86.9)
AA: 19 (76.4)
How much is the 17 in perceptual going to bring down my application at schools? Is this something that AdComs will tear me apart for? Cause I'll carve the Sh#$ out of some soap if I havta.
Well, I'm off to the Pub until I can't see straight.
