terrible with logs

hey guys,

so as i'm doing some general chem problems i know how to set all of the pH problems up without any sort of problems, but the difficulty comes with solving certain logs to obtain actual pH and pOH values. is there a big emphasis on this on the DAT?

you should be able to eyeball logs if you have the destroyer there is a cool trick in there i learned see if u can find it.......good luck but yeah u should know it for the test! best of luck

i have 2008 version destroyer but didnt find that one. plz share with us!!!

my method. simply memorize. old fashion way!

Here is a trick. If it is 7x10^-6, just take 6 and subtract .7 from it and you will get 5.3. While this might not give you the most accurate, it will work for the test.
