I started this new name to stay anonymous.
At my school we have 3 big tests per year. Obviously these tests cover massive amounts of material that take some serious planning.
Well our administration decided to schedule several classes (2014 and 2015) and both pharm and med exams on the same day. These test days had been set since the beginning of the semester. They knew going in that they were the same days.
So its 2 weeks before our test and they now realized that there is going to be a major parking problem on campus. They have decided to move the test up a day from fri to thurs. Only some of the faculty are made aware of this change. The problem is that the secretary that normally handles email is on vacation and they are not gonna "notify" us until monday, giving us only a week and half notice. These few faculty let some students know of the change. Now the date has not "officially" changed, but some of our class is freaking out. Now I know that 1 day probable wont make a huge difference, but shouldn't the admin try to give us much more advanced warning than a week and half if they already know they will change the date? Anyone else heard of a med school changing a test date for such a crazy reason as parking? Or changing with such short notice?
