If you guys are on a strict MCAT study schedule (5-6 hr a day), how do you fit in studying for mid-term exams? It's a balance. I've tried to cut back MCAT a few hours. I almost find myself cramming for my mid-term.

Realize that there will be some weeks where you can't study for the MCAT at all. I studied in the fall semester for the Jan. 24th test using SN2ed schedule but I gave myself 4 months for the "3 month schedule" knowing that I would be so busy that some days I couldn't even touch my MCAT material.

What I like to do is take all my syllabi for all my classes and write down in my calendar when each midterm is. That way I always know way in advance when the tests so I can give myself plenty of time to study. I give myself about a week to start reviewing the material instead of trying to cram everything the last few days.

Also 5-6 hours a day is a lot of time. I could usually fit 2-3 hours a day but anything more I would be sacrificing a lot of sleep.

This my first week since I started studying (in January) that my MCAT studying has to take a back seat to school studying. I have a very light load, on purpose.

I'm almost at the 2-month-out mark, and this half-week off is causing me some crazy anxiety.
