I took UWSA 1 this afternoon and scored 211. I plan to do about 4 NBMEs before taking the actual test. I am 2 months away from dedicated study time (5 weeks) which starts in June. I have NOT STARTED UWorld yet. Just 70% of Kaplan in subject mode. I haven't done a complete review of FA yet. I have done Gunnertraining/Firecracker for 9 straight months and Kaplan videos on subjects I feel weak in. Obviously I am not feeling great about my first practice score and I felt that the questions weren't too out of left field. Very bummed out. I have made a schedule to actually do a dedicated FA read for the next two months and then DIT for my dedicated study time. I also will do a dedicated read of Pathoma for the next 2 months. Do you guys have any advice on what I need to do to bump up my score? I am not the best test taker and I attribute that more to silly mistakes and probably less to do with knowledge base. My goal is at least a 240. Any advice on making less silly errors/mistakes and also if this plan seems good. Thanks in advance guys.

You are fine. You have a looooong time left until your test. Stick to your study plan, and your score will improve as more time passes.

Did you expect to score a 240 on your first practice test? Because if you did, I would tell you to change your test date to tomorrow.

Thanks for the reply. I expected at least a 220 but I agree that I have more work to do. Starting UWorld in a few days so hopefully I learn a lot more
