Be sure to highlight all of the bizarre quarks in individual drugs and anticipate questions. Most professors are lazy and write test questions that involve very little work on their part. Looking at a chart and seeing a minor difference in some drug or class of drugs is a great way to ask a lazy question that appears well thought out on the surface. Like say if in a group of six drugs, one is metabolized renally and six are metabolized hepatically. They'll write up a case study about some patient in liver failure...blah blah blah....and the answer is the one metabolized renally.
I know that's common sense, but taking the time to memorize quirks will get you tons of points.
