testing questions on step 1

This may sound a bit ignorant seeing as how I took step 1 yesterday but do they have questions on step 1 that they are just testing and that don't count towards your score? I had heard about this but found nothing on the usmle site to back it up. I was wondering because there was one biostat question on my exam where it clearly had a math error with respect to an SD number it gave in the question stem.
