Tests monday and teusday... cant study

I have anatomy and Histo practical exams on monday and anato/ embryo/ Histo theoretical exams on teusday and I cant get myself to open a damn book.
I look at my books, go over to the fridge, get some chips, watch some tv, hear some music, talk on the phone, log on to SDN... anything but study.
Its wierd because I feel guilty because I know I should be studying yet I cant bring myself to do it.

i have found that being active while studying is key to learning it quickly. Draw out the system and label the muscles and innervations. That way you cant space out while you are doing it

Get a beer and crash for the night like me. I have an exam next week also, but I'm too spaced out to study anymore...I'm downin 3 beers and hittin the sack...ready to wake up and tackle some more crap tomorrow.

it doesn't hurt to develop your sER and P450 oxidation systems either 😛

yeah this happens to me a lot- try to get a good group of study buddies. Not the types you know will spend more time checking their emails, talking on their cell phones, or leaving hte room for a smoke. Find good people who will make you study. It's peer pressure! And get out of your room and to somewhere where all you can do is study. Do the flowchart thing too. I totally understand about studying though. It's hard looking outside sometimes and knowing the weather is going to turn sour soon.

yea, i have my first test next week too, and if i allow myself to think about it, it will freak me out, mostly because i don't know what to expect. i took a few hours off tonight and went out but will probably spend most of the weekend studying...ugh

Wow, I know EXACTLY how you feel. Exactly. Because I have been through the same thing. While I may be a premed undergrad, trust me, I know what that feels like. Just open the book. Five minutes into it, you will be good to go. If you have to, drive to a coffee shop or something and dont leave until you study. This is partly why I cant study at home.

But yeah, I've been through that before....
