Now that I've received my final R, I've got a few questions.
I've taken a hard look at my applications and have noted a few things:
1) GPA 3.44 / Science 3.34 (double majored Biochemistry and biology)
2) MCAT 512
3) Heavy non-clinical volunteering and leadership roles - So I think I am ok on this one.
4) Lacked physician shadowing and hands-on experiences
5) Failed to apply to ANY DO programs

What I've done to rectify the above.
5) Added DO programs to the application cycle.
4) I've added additional physician shadowing hours/opportunities 50+.
3) I have over 800+ hours as a working EMT. I enrolled in a paramedicine program (all A's at the moment). I have 100+ clinical (ER & pre-OP) hours of patient contact (starting IV's and intubating patients).
2) I'm ok with my MCAT score at the moment. More afraid of retaking and receiving a lower score.
1) Will any of these paramedicine courses/grades help my core GPA? I am also looking into taking upper-division science courses to boost my science GPA.

Any advice or insight into my current direction would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
I think your chances are best if you stick with DO only.

If you are pining for the MD, then you're going to need to reinvent yourself either with a do-it-yourself postback or a special master's program.

Look for my post on reinvention for pre-meds
Under no circumstances should you retake the MCAT!

Did you ever reach out to pre-health advisors or talked with your physician references about your application before you started? I have no idea what your letters of recommendation are like, but if I were them, I would have pointed these things out to you and warned you not to spend your money. You're only planning roughly 50 hours to rectify this issue, but in what situations? Medicine is complex with various levels of stress and patient contact. Your summary shows some pretty apparent problems that would have made things very difficult for your application, and your GPA doesn't really help matters.

As you are nearing graduation, you're going notice you can't bump your GPA up really high. How well did you do in your most recent coursework in your biochem/biology majors? What research did you take part in?
