Texas A&M University-Commerce's M.A. in clinical psychology

I just applied to the school for Fall 2013 admissions. I feel pretty confident, I live in Dallas and would be commuting to Commerce or to the off-campus location in Mesquite, TX. My research interests would revolve around LGBT personality and pathology development and DSM diagnostic criteria towards LGBT people.

In my youth, I have always heard TAMUC in on the conservative side of schools, but considering the psychology program, I hope it wont be the case. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge about this program at all?
