In 2006 and 2007, the school of pharmacy accepted 76 people. I remember being told that the class size for 2008 was going to be "significantly" increased, and I think that number was 90. Next year, they want to increase the class size again. It's all mentioned in that giant PDF file at http://pharmacy.tamhsc.edu/about/tamhsc-cop-selfstudy.pdf on page 149 (152 in PDF pages).

I was hoping to hear something from A&M by the time I got home from work. Back to the anxiety routine.

im going to work on some Anatomy Reading.. fun fun.. nothing like going over the renal system before i decide to go put some alcohol in it.. ha ha
 
Anyone think the DHL letters went out? Are those overnighted?
 
I doubt they overnighted them, but i think DHL doesn't deliver on saturday...

If its any hope for all of us waiting, I just got off the phone w/ my P1 friends (she goes to UIW). She said she didn't get her Kingsville acceptance letter until 2 am.. so maybe we still have hope of getting it this weekend.. or we are all screwed worrying about it for another 2 to 3 days!

DHL does deliver on Saturday. That is where we get a lot of our meds that we need for the weekend since our wholesaler only delivers M-F. I'm not sure that the school would go through the added expense of having them delivered on Saturday though. I'm not sure what DHL rates are, but we are a UPS shipping station and their rates are outrageous for Sat delivery.

Oh well, I guess we'll just have to keep waiting.
 
are those the nicest apts in kingsville?? I didnt really see any except one but i forgot the name of them.

Im not sure if they are the "nicest" in kingsville but they are only two years old and they are definitely the nicest ones close to campus

ive been getting the most random emails all day
 
stupid spammers.. getting our hopes up! well guys I am off to play poker at the local bar (hopefully if i get in kingsville they will have texas hold em somewhere) so I may be back on once I am back.. I have got to get away from this computer and my books!

This sounds random but i love cats that act like dogs, the more affectionate ones! i dont the ones that are grumpy and crabby all the time!

yea i sent an email A&M telling them to withdraw my application but I never got a confirmation email from them saying that they did so. so i dunno what the deal is.

It seems like they have never received any emails that I've sent them. They even called me once because they didn't get one.
 
i just got off work and raced home to check sdn, and then my email. no one has heard anything?! that is just cruel!!! how could they tell us april 4th..and not send out anything!🙁

yeah i dunno. this was a couple weeks ago too. that would be pretty weird if i got accepted lol

Im debating if I should stay up all night and study, or pass out and study on the ride up to dallas. (5 hour drive from SA to Dallas)

Hey twirler chick....since you like NL hold'em and you're gonna be in Cowtown...There's a casino about 1 hour north of the speedway in Oklahoma. Winstar. It's the first exit off of I-35 right after you cross the Red River. There's also one in Durant, OK called Choctaw if you're staying in Dallas. That one is off of I-75.

I like NASCAR too. I haven't been to a race before. Did you see that awful wreck where that car flipped something like 8 times? It was during practice today I think. The traffic is absolutely awful along that stretch on race weekend. It's gonna take you longer than 5 hours.

Losing with pocket cowboys sucks. I was playing a 5/10 NL game and got all in pre-flop with those one time and the other guy had rockets....oops.

remember how the p1 students were really excited kingsville was getting an ihop?! thats so funny. we'll all be hanging out at ihop if we get in.

I'll have to go there sometime, I am only going to be in dallas tomorrow and we are driving back sunday after the race. Row 15! Got my earplugs ready and my bags packed 😀

I will say i would rather loose with a good hand than loose with a donkey hand, guess thats just my pride 😀

I ate at the ihop on the way home, lol! im sure if we all go we are going to be studying late and it will probably be there. lol!

I need to go to bed and cant! that sucks!

Still awake, but I don't think it has anything to do with waiting for an e-mail. Just can't sleep and I have a 10 hour shift to work tomorrow. I should be studying for a test on Tuesday, but I'm truly not in the mood.

Anyone planning on taking the summer off if they get accepted? We are hoping to go on a 2 to 3 week trek to Colorado and Yellowstone. That's if we can save enough money to cover the ever rising gas prices. I figured that would be a great way to reward myself for getting to this point. I've already informed my boss that when I graduate from pharmacy school I'm going to New Zealand for two weeks. I figure we'll just charge up the card and I'll work overtime when I get back to pay it off. I've always wanted to go there but never really had the funds. I know it sounds cliche, but I'm a huge Lord of the Rings fan and would love to see all the places where it was filmed. The scenery in the movie was amazing.

Oh well, sorry I'm babbling, just really tired and bored.
