Texas AM ortho residency

Hello!

Is there any current Texas AM ortho resident or grads of the program who could provide some info on the program? How competitive is it to get in? What factors does the program weigh heavily? Do they take inters?

I’ll be moving to Dallas with my family and can’t apply to any other ortho program. My only chance is to get into Texas AM.

Hmmm I've had a few friends that either interviewed or attended the program. I did not. However, I can say that my friends who did interview there were at the top of their class, (#1-#10, the ones I knew were #1,#2) and had research experience. Since it's a very affordable and strong program, it pulls in a lot of applications which makes it extra competitive. No interns from what I recall.

Yea I know. Unfortunately, I’m in a tough situation that doesn’t allow me to relocate again.
