I'm finishing up my 4th year of dental school and I am considering moving to the houston area after graduation. I was wondering if any students in texas have any ideas of the current oppurtunities available to new dentists as associates etc... Here in Florida new graduates can earn about 500-600/day right out of school (but may be working for not so good companies doing it). New graduates willing to relocate to several areas in FL can find a job that pays well pretty easily... or so that's what I've heard and seen. From what you may know, do you feel that houston may be similiar???? do employers look for more experienced dentist (GPRs and AEGDs??) any info would be helpful.
