Long time lurker, first time poster here!

Seems to be a good time to start the current year 'texas wave' thread. Here are my stats:

University: UTSA, graduating May 25

Major: Psychology Minor: Biology

Overall GPA: 3.9

GRE: V153/Q154

Observation Hours: 200 in 3 different outpatient clinics

Volunteering: 100 hrs autistic kids horse therapy

Work: part time athletic trainer at a local gym

Applied: Almost all Texas schools (I know, an overkill)

Scheduled Interview: UMHB (sept 13), UNT (sept 20), TTech Odessa (Oct 18), HSU (Nov 8),

Acceptance: USA (almost immediately after application, mid-August)

Hey! I have an interview with HSU tomorrow, UMHB on Oct 11th, and just got an interview offer for TTUHSC in Lubbock.

What was the UMHB interview like? I'm curious about the essay writing process. Thanks!

You get an envelope with a prompt and a flash drive and are directed to where the computers are. Once you are done, you have an interview with 2 professors. The prompt and questions were pretty generic, and the interviewers genuinely nice . Very relaxed experience as opposed to my second interview (UNT)

I got accepted into UTMB. They do it by a point system so you hear back quick. I also got into Hardin Simmons so I'm deciding whether to pick one of those or keep interviewing...

I have an interview at UTMB on the 11th. A little bit scared about the 'group interview' part as I am not a very outgoing person.

Just got off the waiting list at UTMB (my original first chocie)
So now I have a difficult choice to make - TTech vs UTMB.
Any suggestions are welcome (you can ignore cost and 'entertainment value' factors 🙂
