I am applying to the Baylor/Rice program.
I am applying to Baylor and UT Southwestern, interviewing at both in Nov. To the OP: What did you want to discuss in this thread? Where in the process are you? I'd be happy to share anything I find out with you, especially after the interviews.

i'm applying to Baylor and Southwestern as well.. I'm from Texas too, so I'd really prefer to go to one of them to stay close to family. PM me if you anybody wants to discuss something about the process.

I applied to UTH (no word yet) and TCOM DO/Ph.D. I had my interview at TCOM last week. It went well, I think. The head of pharm (my area selected for Ph.D work) was alos my LOR, as I've dome some work out there before. I had two interviews for the DO program (went well, I think) and one for the Ph.D (went well, also). TCOM is my first choice; I'd like to stay in Fort Worth, so I'm really excited. 👍

So I never got UTSW or Baylor MSTP/MD/PhD interviews but did the rest...
Wondering if anyone else wants to share thoughts/ideas on the programs/interview dates/acceptances....u catch my drift...

I'm not gunning for Baylor or UTSW, either.
Cross my fingers, I hope to get into UTMB and UT-Austin's MD/PhD program.
I hope to find out in a couple of weeks.
As a side note, thanks to Neuronix for any helpful discussions in the past.

since this thread is talking about any and all md/phd programs in texas...i'm gonna be interviewing at utsw soon and i was wondering if any of ya'lls had advice. i'm not from texas so i don't know what to expect. (this is the prelim interview...not the crazy 2nd invite one). thanks.
