Texas Med schools financial aid

I know that the tuition at all the texas med schools is very cheap as compared to rest of med schools. is it common for students to get full rides or lots of scholarship money for school or is it pretty much loans because of the cheap tuition.

I never heard of a full ride at a Texas school except for Baylor. UTSW ($3500 or $7000/year) and UTMB for sure give partial scholarships though. You might get free money (grants) from schools might be included in your financial aid package though.
