Internal Medicine - SW, Baylor, UTMB, Houston, San Antonio. Have not heard from anyone yet, so little worried.

I know UTSW and UT Houston have sent out some invites, but not sure about the others. I'll ask around and let you know who our IM applicants have heard from.

I'm IM as well. I've gotten one from utmb and one from a&m. I'm sure you'll hear from them sometime this month so I wouldn't worry too much. Why didn't you apply to Temple?

So there is a rumor floating around that Baylor and UTSW in Dallas won't interview applicants until they receive their Step 2 scores. Not sure if it's true so take it with a large grain of salt.

I actually applied to A&M as well, I guess I just forgot to type it! Still waiting for an interview invite from anywhere in TX, I'll keep you guys posted. Thanks for the help!

I don't think this is true. I know someone who was invited to UTSW and has not received their Step 2 scores back (but both were recently taken, not sure if UTSW has any way of actually knowing that).

I am an out of stater and got Baylor and Texas A&M interview invites about a month ago...did apply with a step 2 score

Out of stater and also got a baylor COM interview about 3 weeks ago. Granted, I was on an away there at the time and had just met with the program director. I have also gotten a Methodist (houston) interview, but declined.

Received a Baylor invite about two weeks ago. I'm OOS/did not have CK submitted at the time. Not sure how many more spots they have left-- you had to call in to schedule.
