Hi I was hoping someone could help me out. I was recently accepted to Texas A&M for medical school. I graduated from a Texas high school and lived in Texas 36 months prior to graduating high school; however, I did not live in Texas 12 months prior to matriculation. Would I still be considered a Texas resident?

If you left Texas for an OOS college and your parents stayed as Texas residents, you should still be categorized as a Texan. There is probably a form or checklist at the med school that will further answer your questions.

My parents currently still live in Texas, but I graduated May 2017, so I have been working part-time OOS for a little less than a year.
