Most of the Texas schools state that they will start accepting applications in September. Does anyone know what the essay portion of the applications will be? I'd like to get a head start on it.

Anyone else at a standstill in doing their Texas school applications? Unfortunately, none of the Texas schools utilize Pharmcas.

At Tech, I think there's only one real essay to be written. Last year it was basically asking for a couple pages about what pharmacy experience you have (at least one day) and what it taught you about the profession and yourself. UT requires a personal statement, and if you're not in the UT system you will have to complete their undergrad transfer application (even if you're degreed) and that requires two essays basically asking you to distinguish yourself from other applicants, but that's for UT in general, not the pharmacy school.

Thanks for the input. Guess, I can start on a rough draft or start brainstorming on what to write. Just want to get started on it before Fall school starts.
