@oncophage- I have not received an email acceptance so the letter was completely unexpected.

@aznhomieboi1689_ I've been accepted to the Abilene campus

I'm still in disbelief! You guys don't know how long the road I've traveled to get into pharmacy school. It's been one rough ride but I believe it's made me a better person and even more determined to succeed.

And to all those still waiting & trying to get: My advice to you all is to NEVER, I repeat NEVER give up! If you want it bad enough then keep trying!!

I am interviewing next Friday @ Abilene. I need advise from people wo are accepted as I prepare for the interview..

When you guys answered interview question, did you all use real life examples or just answered in a theoretical/abstract way?

The group project: When you call did the group activity, how did you divide the activity when I heard there were like 7 people in a group?😕


Once again this is the last one so my hopes are not as hig 🙁 My file will be reviewed only once

I would use real life examples, be honest! And the group, everyone HAS to present, so means that your group has to give you a part. But after you short presentation they will ask you questions, so it's up to you to answer them.
 
I got an acceptance for the Abilene campus today! My dad called to tell me he opened it and got glitter everywhere 🙂

I interviewed Feb 11th at Abilene. UT is sending out their acceptances Tuesday; if I get in there as well it will be a tough decision. 😕 But who knows maybe I won't have to decide 🙄

Definitely use real past experiences. It's a behavioral type interview. The interview felt more like another generic job interview than anything else.

Use STAR technique - Situation, Task, Action, Result. If you haven't had a behavioral interview before, go to your career center and have them do a mock interview with you.

Just like the others have said, use real life experiences. But if you can't think of any then just use a hypothetical situation as an example. Just make sure you tell them it's a hypothetical one and don't lie.

I'm waiting for word from UT as well and it definitely will be tough to decide if I'm accepted to UT!
 
Gosh, I am freaking out and going crazy at the same time.....If I don't get in the next round of acceptances, I think that will be it for me. I have a 3.85 GPA and a 76 PCAT but maybe I blew it in my interview, I wish I can have another chance to make it right......🙁

Oh man I feel the exact same way! I'm thinking maybe I didn't do so good on the interview! Omg!

Same here. I was in that group as well and I haven't received anything in the mail either.

And as far as I know no one from our group has posted that they hace received a letter. It's mostly been Feb 11 lately.


If you get anything, please post and I will do the same.

now i just want them to send me a letter saying that i m out of consideration so that i can invest myself into some other school.
 
Wow! I received my acceptance this morning into the PharmD-MBA program!! It appears that the typical PharmD acceptances for the 3rd round will be soon to follow according to an advisor at the SOP.

Congrats!! That means you have MBA classes coming in a few months so be sure to get your R&R in this week!! LOL!!

When did you interview? Which location!!
 
I was impatient and sad after not getting an email from UT today, so I called Texas Tech and found out I've been accepted!!!!!!! What an emotional roller coaster this past hour.

I interviewed on Jan 28th in Amarillo. Definitely will do my best on the R and R Organic 2 does not facilitate in that very much! Thank you!

I'm going to Abilene tomorrow to look at the area/apartments/etc. (last time I was there, I barely had time to do anything!) So it's never too early, I think!! Congrats to everyone who got in especially those who got in the PharmD-MBA program! I was interested in it, but I think i didn't apply soon enough (plus I was told I couldn't until I was accepted?).

Anyways, can't wait to see y'all this fall! 😀
 
I was accepted today. I declined, because I was also accepted to UT today! It'll be more expensive to live in Austin, but it's such a good program, I can't say no.

Thanks! I interviewed February 25th in Amarillo!

You don't know how relieved I am now! I can actually enjoy the rest of my spring break without checking my email every 5 minutes! Lol

Congrats to everyone that has been accepted so far, can't wait to meet those of you in Amarillo in august 🙂 And for those of you still waiting, good luck and don't lose hope 🙂

Congrats!! When did you interview and which campus location?

Unfortunately, I still haven't heard anything from TTUHSC. I interviewed on Feb 18 in Amarillo and I have heard some of the other people in my interview group have been getting acceptances.

So those of you in the Feb 18th interview group, be on the watch for emails and good luck to you!!
 
I'm still waiting on a response from TTU as well. I called the office this just a second ago and talked to Mike Schwettman. He told me they just got the list from the admissions commitee's last meeting. The LAST meeting will be March 29th with the last batch of letters being sent out the first week of April. 🙁

It's a bummer that a few of us now have to wait for the very last opportunity but at least we have another shot. Congrats to everyone receiving letters today! I hope to see you in the fall 🙂

So did Mr Schwettman get a list today of additional letters to be mailed out before the 03/29 meeting????

It's so frustrating because I was registered to interview Feb 4th but because of the weather it was canceled. I could have had my application reviewed more but I am only going to get reviewed twice now because I interviewed Feb 18th. *sigh*

Losing hope...it's okay though cause I'll just try again next year.
 
Nothing for me either 🙁 ... i hope we get in, in the last batch of letters.

Does anyone know if they did include the March 4th interviews with this last batch they reviewed? I was supposed to interview Feb 4th as well, but had to reschedule as did others. I was at Abilene and they told us they were going to try and push those that were due to interview earlier into this batch, but I haven't seen anyone from our group get a reply or anything quite yet. I'm tired of tracking this forum everyday! haha
