Hey guys, hope all is well with the application process! I wanted to see if anyone who has applied or know someone who has applied to the Texas Tech DPT program had received an interview invite?

Hey! I had my Tech interview last Friday and my advice is let your shoulders down, be yourself, be truthful and relax. The interview felt more like a conversation than anything, it was really laid back. It was a little intimating at first but the professors really start to open up with you. In terms of questions, I was really asked basic questions such as "Why do you want to become a PT?" etc. Honestly just ask anything that you are curious about such as campus locations, if they're still practicing etc.

Has anyone who have had their interview 9/25 heard back or know when we would be hearing back?
 
Hey y’all. I too am applying to Tech. I had my interview 10/09 and had applied late August. If I remember correctly, they said all students that have been accepted would know by mid January at the latest. Do they participate early acceptance?

I also had my interview with Tech on 10/09. Which campus did you interview with? I believe they participate in rolling admission, if that is what you're asking!
 
I got an acceptance from them today (10/22)! I interviewed on 9/25.

Congratulations!!!!! I have not heard back from them yet. I assumed you heard back via email??

Thank you!!! Yes - I got an email saying that there was an update in my application status page (like the TTUHSC portal thing), and the decision itself was posted in the portal!

I too had an interview on Oct. 9th and got accepted on the 23rd of October.

I just got an email saying that I was placed as an alternate. So I’m guessing I am waitlisted.
 
Anyone have an idea of how many people get waistlisted for Texas Tech?
 
Anyone who was offered acceptance off of the waitlist for Texas Tech?

For those who were accepted to the program, have you received any new instruction/info in regards to the next steps after being admitted besides submitting a payment to secure your spot.

Do y’all think there’s a possibility, assuming the situation allows it, that a student could change campus locations to their first choice should a seat be open?
