They emailed me a month ago asking about one of my classes. Haven't heard back since.
 
I submitted everything back in August and haven't heard anything from them yet
 
They are pretty quick getting back to people once they interview. I heard back from them less than a week after my interview.
 
I've already interviewed there and been accepted! They are pretty quick in giving out answers, so you won't have to wait for long.
 
I know that they have another round of interviews Nov. 13th, but I haven't received an invite yet.

If you don't mind sharing your stats... I also applied here and submitted my application mid September.

yeah sure! I had an overall GPA of like a 3.6 with my last 60 hours being a 4.0. I think what made this look better though is that it included a lot of classes like organic chemistry, engineering classes, biochemistry, and business classes which are normally not taken for OT but was required for my major and explained any weaker grades. I volunteered two years in a pediatric outpatient unit, while also observing in acute care, inpatient, long-term care, and hippotherapy. I worked at an adaptive summer camp for kids with disabilities for two years, and then recently continued into the after school program. I did research under a professor regarding nutrition and mental health disorders, and was part of the student body government at my university. Don't stress about applications! I know it's hard not to, but just have faith in yourself and your abilities.
 
Hey guys!! Do you guys know the interview process at Texas Tech?
 
Submitted my application on September 2nd and was invited to interview September 14th. Interviewed on October 2nd and was emailed on October 8th that I was chosen as an alternate 🙁
Tech is my only choice so the waiting game is killing me!!
 
Which row were you sitting on the 2nd? That is the day I also interviewed.
 
This is random but are you from Texas? Because I turned in my application mid September and haven't heard back but I'm from out of state...

Same here! I'm from out of state and haven't heard anything from them yet

I was sitting in the middle row! What about you?! Was this your first time going through the application process?

Yes I am from Texas and also went to Texas Tech for undergrad so that may have helped speed up the process.
 
I was in the back row. It was my first time applying to Tech. I think there was another in my group also waiting to hear back from TWU. Im sure spots will open up by dec. TWU said graduate letter will go out the end of this month for assured admissions. I know how it feels to wait I will for sure let them know right away once I have been confirmed for TWU.

I'm in the same boat. I'm from out of state and turned my application in mid September and haven't hear back :/

Cause I'm not sure where I read it exactly but I read somewhere on a forum that they do phone interviews... So I was just wondering if I was the only out of state applicant that wasn't being contacted. Let me know if you hear anything!
 
I just got an email from them today saying that they were reviewing my application, and that they are only doing in person interviews in Lubbock.
 
Good luck to those on the alternate list for Texas Tech. I informed them today that I was giving up my spot.
 
Has anyone else heard anything from Tech? They never contacted me, so I'm assuming I'm rejected? My merlin portal doesn't have a status.

I submitted my application Mid October and everything was turned in (transcript and letter of recommendation) and sadly I got my rejection letter 2-3 weeks ago ):
 
I got accepted to Texas Tech and wanted to know if there was a Facebook page or if anyone has heard anything since the initial acceptance letter/email?

Does anyone remember if the FB page will be made by the upper classmen in the current TTUHSC MOT program or is it the newly accepted students responsibility? I am also looking for a roommate!! School starts in 3 months!!!

When I click on this link... It says that I need a "@ttu.edu" email to access the Texas Tech groups. I did not attend undergrad there so I only have a @ttuhsc.edu email. Do you have any advice on how to access this facebook group another way? Also, when I search "TTUHSC MOT Class of 2018" nothing comes up. Thanks!
 
Don't mean to be nosey... But just curious if there are any accepted applicants that are willing to share their stats? Applying this upcoming summer for the 2017 entry and am trying to get a feel for where I stand. I'm also an out of state applicant so if anyone has any information or insight on that I would love to hear it. Any information is appreciated, thank you!
