When I was in Houston I was told that due to deregulation, tuition at UHCO went up 17% last year. I understand that this was on the first year of deregulation, and that it will level off, but is this something that we should be concerned about?
is it true that out-of-state students in Texas can't get residency after the first year, as at other state schools? I thought I read somewhere that you have to work full-time one year w/o school to qualify.
you cannot get residence in the state of texas without living in texas for a year and working. working while a student does not count. just like pdot said.
there are out of state tuition wavers for students to apply for so out of staters can pay in state tuition.
