I think this has been discussed before but I thought I'd bring it up again seeing as I can't find a past post.

Tintinalli vs Harwood-Nuss vs Rosen

I like Rosen, but I really wanna get through a lot of reading before the In Service, and Rosen's is a little wordy. Plus, I have the old Rosen, and I might need use some book fund money to upgrade to a new edition of something.

So what do you guys think? I heard good and bad about Tintinalli, all good about Harwood-Nuss, mostly bad about Rosen (I think Rosen sometimes gets a bad rap, though). Any thoughts?

I find Tintinalli to be good, but simply not practical. The thing weighs a ton, and is awkward when trying to go to a coffee shop or bookstore to study.

I like Rosen's the best, but Tintinalli is a close second. Seems that intinalli is a great overview text, but lacks a lot of the detail that I like in some cases. Rosen's is more in depth, but the volumes are a pain in the butt...
